Always Ensure Good Ventilation: Operate the gas stove exclusively outdoors or in well-ventilated areas to ensure a constant supply of fresh air.
Caution: Hot! Since the stainless steel surfaces and the windshield become very hot during cooking, please keep small children away from the appliance at all times.
Clearances & Ventilation: When setting up the stove, ensure sufficient safety clearances from flammable materials and keep the built-in ventilation slots clear.

Correct Cartridge Position: To ensure a clean and safe flow of gas, the gas cartridge must be kept in an upright position in the designated holder at all times during operation.

Which gas cartridges are compatible with the BOXIO COOK?

The BOXIO COOK may only be used with the following cartridges:

Cartridge Type 200,
labeled “Propane/Butane, ”
which comply with the EN 417 standard.

Adapter solutions or other cartridge types (e.g., Campingaz 901/904/various system cartridges) are not permitted. This is the only way to ensure safe, certified operation.

Can I remove the windshield?

Yes, the windshield can be removed relatively easily (e.g., for cleaning; see the setup/assembly video).

However, the windshield should always remain in place while cooking to ensure that the flame stays steady and the burner performs properly.

What size pot fits on the stove, and what is the COOK's power output?

The maximum pot diameter for the BOXIO COOK is 22 cm.

The heating power is approximately 1.8 kW —perfect for coffee, pasta, stir-fries, and more during everyday camping.

How many liters of water can I boil with one gas cartridge?

With a 500-gram propane/butane gas cartridge, you can—depending on the wind, temperature, and pot size—boil approximately:

Can I use the BOXIO COOK to cook in my camper or indoors?

The BOXIO COOK is not intended for cooking in enclosed indoor spaces.

It should only be used in well-ventilated but wind-protected areas —for example, outdoors under an awning or in an open rear extension.

Important: The ventilation slots on at least two sides must always remain unobstructed.
